Our Bergschaf is excellent quality and is a good alternative to Norwegian C1. It is slightly coarser in texture, but felts easily. This produces interesting effects when blended with C1 and Merino. Bergschaf keeps its shape and is great for stronger felt items like bags and vessels. It also creates texture in flat wet felting and needle felting. Bergschaf is also a great wool for spinning.
